in Sheki (Seki) if not all of Azerbaijan! Not only is the Karavenserai
Hotel atmospheric, the bed in my room was amazingly comfortable.

Former Khans palace in Sheki, Azerbaijan. A real jewel, outside and inside.
The old Platan tree is also protected by law and is as old as the palace,
300 years. Sheki khans' Palace is one of the most beautiful
creations of Azeri architecture. In spite of frequent
earthquakes the palace was saved because of applying
the special anti-seismic belts during construction.
