Dear customers!
Please be informed regarding the fact that the creation of new accounts on EurasiaSat-1 (TurkSat-2A) has been stopped starting today, October 1, 2008. The carrier being transmitted via EurasiaSat-1 (TurkSat-2A) system will be terminated starting November 1, 2008. The reason for the EurasiaSat-1 (TurkSat-2A) service termination is the inability of the satellite segment owner to guarantee the absence of the interfering pirate activity on the transponder being used and, therefore, the inability to ensure the proper work of the transponder in the long-term. We recommend the clients who are using services on EurasiaSat-1 (TurkSat-2A) carrier to tune their receiving antennas and therefore start using services on Astra-5A satellite system.
All clients who will migrate to Astra-5A satellite system during October, 2008 will be rewarded a bonus: 20% to the existing balance at the moment of switching. The bonus will be credited once, at the moment of switching from EurasiaSat-1 (TurkSat-2A) to Astra-5A satellite system. Furthermore, for the period from October 1 to November 30, 2008 the speed on all tariff plans, except Leechers, will be doubled. We strongly recommend all clients using EurasiaSat-1 (TurkSat-2A) services to take care of tuning the antennas to the new satellite position and setting the right carrier parameters on the receivers in advance. We also request our clients not to put aside the above works to the unfavorable weather-wise autumn-winter season in order to avoid any undesirable interruptions of the SatGate satellite Internet services.
